Top efforts from junior cricketers

Round 10, February 10

WELL done to all New Norfolk junior players on their efforts last Sunday. Under 13s player Tom Murray batted very well, making 44 not out. He didn’t have to do much running, as he hit eight fours and one six during his unbeaten innings.

Under 15s player Luke Jarvis had a good match, making 42 with five fours and two sixes. With the ball, he took 1-8 off three overs. Jack Morgan also batted well, making 40 runs including six fours and one six. Cameron McMaster also made 40, with eight fours. While bowling he took 1-9 off 2 overs.

Brighton 3/124 off 14 overs defeated New Norfolk 8/121 off 23 overs at Boyer Oval.
Batting: Tom Murray 44 not out, with 8 fours and 1 six; Cale Browning 25 with 4 fours; Tate Browning 24no with 4 fours. Bowling: Logan Hunt 1-12 off 2 overs; Jack Moodie 1-16 off 2 overs; Ruben Strong 1-28 off 2 overs.

New Norfolk 8/186 off 25 overs defeated North Hobart 9/86 off 22 overs at Friends Bell Street.
