THE life of former New Norfolk businessman Roy Garwood was celebrated at St Matthew's Anglican Church this morning. The funeral service conducted by the Reverend Celia Hooker was largely attended.
Roy Walter Garwood, Junior, was born at New Norfolk in 1939 and died last Wednesday, in his 80th year. He was well-known for both his highly-regarded car bodyworks business at Lawitta and for his prowess as a clay-target shooter, fisherman and hunter.
In retirement Roy and wife Wendy lived at Dromedary. Roy is survived by Wendy and their daughters and grand-daughters. Condolences to all his family and friends.
