Fire Weather Warning
for the Upper Derwent Valley, North East, East Coast, Midlands, South East and Central Plateau forecast districts
Issued at 10pm on Thursday 3 January 2019.
Severe fire dangers are expected in parts of the Upper Derwent Valley, South East, Midlands and East Coast forecast districts during Friday, with Very High fire dangers about the North East and East Coast districts. Temperatures in these areas are expected to reach mid to high 30s, northwesterly winds of 30 to 40 km/h and relative humidity down of 10 to 20%.
