Youth League cricket

Aidan Featherstone was amongst
the runs on Sunday.
AIDAN Featherstone had a great match in the Under 13s game between Gretna and Clarence on Sunday. He made 42 not out, hitting six fours, and also took 1-18 off 4 overs with the ball. Sam Jackson did well also and finished with the good figures of 1-10 (4).

In New Norfolk's Under 13 match, Tate Browning was again amongst the wickets, taking two for just five runs off three overs. Riley Blackaby was very conservative, sending down four overs and taking one wicket for just four runs.

In the Under 14s match between Gretna and University, Gretna's Hayden Davis swung the willow for a fine 49 off just 29 balls. He hit eight fours and two sixes in his innings, while Cameron Clark also did well making 33 not out off just 14 deliveries including eight fours. With the ball, Cameron took two wickets while Josh Whyte took 1-6 (3). A special mention goes to Jacob Blackwell who didn't take a wicket, but sent down three overs for just the one run. That's tight bowling. In the same match, Tyler Scanlon bowled superbly sending down three overs to take great figures of 4-11. Well done to all juniors.
