Warning to Sheep Graziers
for the Upper Derwent Valley, King Island, Furneaux Islands, North West Coast, Central North, North East, Midlands, East Coast and South East forecast districts

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, heavy rain and showers and strong northwesterly winds are expected during Monday and Tuesday.
Areas likely to be affected include the North West Coast, Central North and North East forecast districts during Monday, then extending to remaining districts on Tuesday including the Midlands, East Coast, Upper Derwent Valley. South East, King Island and Furneaux Islands forecast districts.
The coldest air is expected to be over Tasmania on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, with snow to settle at low levels. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
The next warning will be issued by 11pm Monday.
