Reader's letter: the link road

MY husband and I drove from the Derwent Valley through to Judbury today (Saturday) on the Plenty Rd in our little car. No problems, good road, could be a bit better sign-posted. Why are tourists and other locals not told of this road? It is a long drive to the Huon through Hobart. I had been advised previously that the road was closed. I only saw one gate and that had obviously not been used for quite a while. The road did not have any holes and was not at all rutted.

  1. Hi Colleen

Could you please tell me how long the trip took over this road?

  2. Admin,

Please note that the road Colleen was using is well signposted as "no unauthorised access".
