Farrell hopes to share the load

DERWENT MLC Craig Farrell was hoping some of the independent members of the Legislative Council may help share his workload as Leader for the Government in the Upper House, according to a report in The Examiner earlier this week. The Launceston newspaper says Mr Farrell - now the only endorsed Labor MLC - hoped some of the non-politically aligned councillors might like to take responsibility for seeing certain legislation through the Upper House. The report can be read here.
